Kelling Capital LLC ("KC," "we," "us") respects the privacy of our employees and new hires. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information through our onboarding platform and SMS notifications.
Information We Collect
Through our employee onboarding process, we may collect: full legal name, date of birth, Social Security number, mailing address, email address, phone number, bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit, tax election information (W-4, state withholding), emergency contact information, and benefits enrollment selections.
How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information solely for employment-related purposes including: processing payroll, setting up direct deposit, filing required tax documents, enrolling you in benefits, fulfilling legal and regulatory requirements, and sending onboarding-related notifications via email and SMS.
SMS Communications
We may send SMS messages to the phone number you provide during onboarding. These messages are limited to onboarding instructions, secure links to complete your paperwork, and status updates related to your employment setup. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Data Protection
Sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, bank account numbers) is encrypted using AES-256 encryption at rest. Access to employee data is restricted to authorized KC personnel only.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information with: payroll processors, benefits providers, and government agencies as required by law.
Data Retention
We retain employee records as required by federal and state employment law. Upon request, we will provide information about what data we hold.
